Program Management
All of our contracts are led by a Project Director who has the full resources of the TBG Team to draw on fulfilling the day-to-day requirements of the contract. In order to effectively utilize our Team's collective resources, we consider the following elements as we approach each individual task:
- Supervision Pulling from our TBG ResultantsSM, we search for those who can offer the optimal experience, expertise, and ability to manage staff to accomplish the overall goal and specific components of the task.
- Mix of Expertise - We evaluate the types and levels of expertise required to ensure the client receives the benefit of innovative thinking, methodologies, and technologies to support each the task.
- Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness - We determine the key task elements and form collaboration with the client that best serves task implementation. We use enabling technologies such as social networking applications or online performance management tools that enhance communication. We also consider, with the client, whether any staff members need to be local or geographically disbursed.
- Identifying Specific Optimal Candidates: - If needed, we find available subject matter experts with precise recent experience required to supplement our extensive in-house personnel resources for a given task. In addition to exploiting our Team's combined networks, we interview key client staff for suggestions, use commercial databases such as Monster, conduct literature reviews to identify experts, and/or reach out to foundations, colleges and universities to find committed experts who are interested and available to join our team.
The key elements of success to our Project Management Activities are:
- Clear Communication: TBG's Project Director is the single point of contact with a client counterpart and will be able to escalate any issues up to TBG's senior leadership.
- Team Collaboration: TBG ResultantsSM will collaborate on all tasks and deliverables in order to come up with the best possible solution for all work. This will enable us to successfully manage multiple tasks.
- Quality Focus: The Project Director will play an ongoing role in overseeing quality process and procedures in order to implement continuous process improvement for service and product delivery.
- Performance Expectations: All personnel will be fully briefed on their responsibilities with respect to quality and evaluation.
- Code of Ethics: All individuals on any contract will have subscribed to TBG's Code of Ethics that addresses unwritten guidelines.
