Facilitation
TBG has a trademarked training for Strategic Facilitation℠. The goal of Strategic Facilitation℠ is to create satisfaction within a work session. The three components that add up to meeting satisfaction are process, content, and psychic components. When all three components are addressed in positive ways, the participants are energized and feel the session was worthwhile. When any of the components are neglected, the session is less than ideal. Thus, the role of the Strategic FacilitatorSM is to successfully manage all three components to achieve the optimal return on a team session.
Examples of the scope and variety of our strategic consulting and facilitation activities include:
- Conducted a comprehensive organizational diagnostic with recommendations for an information technology group.
- Developed a strategic plan for a new leader of a group addressing international transportation programs.
- Conducted market research to develop a program designed to entice target audiences to use food thermometers and change their cooking behaviors.
- Provided experienced facilitators with expertise in environmental protection and social marketing to design and facilitate a workshop.
- Developed communications plans to address dispute resolutions.
- Designed, developed and produced a grant proposal template (including instructions, components, and processes) and provided improvement recommendations.
