Dargeelyn Loftin is a management consultant and business strategist with over three decades of general and progressive financial, business development, marketing, training, and consulting experience. Ms. Loftin has 12 years of Federal experience and has been a client advisor, presenter, and thought leader to the Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and Department of Treasury on organizational development and change management activities such as: organizational climate and needs assessment; retreat and focus group facilitation; traditional and Web-based training; program assessments and evaluation, marketing communications and outreach; and strategy development and performance improvements. She has served as the project leader for a national outreach and education program to decrease unsafe driver behaviors around large trucks and a research project to identify effective strategies for safely managing motorcycle traffic stops for the Department of Transportation.

Ms. Loftin has delivered diverse organizational development and technology-based projects for clients: designed and developed traditional training and web-based courses for the Department of Defense; developed custom designed courses for staff at the National Institutes of Health; provided process improvement recommendations to the Department of Agriculture by implementing print-on-demand eBusiness capabilities; facilitated appreciative learning interviews, focus groups and coaching sessions for the Department of Treasury; assessed processes and identified change targets for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that enhanced organizational performance; project managed the creation of a secure communications network to combat computer-based crimes for the Department of Justice; and developed an executive leadership program for a multi-national membership association with government, corporate and non-profit constituents. Ms. Loftin ran a $125 million business unit for General Electric and led three non-profits as president. Dargeelyn Loftin received her MBA from the Smith School and serves on the Board of Governors at the University of Maryland, College Park.
