Sid Groeneman, Ph.D.

Service Area Expertise: Survey design analysis and management for policy and marketing research and organizational/management consulting; also focus groups moderation and qualitative research analysis.

Sid Groeneman is an experienced Survey Research Manager, Consultant, and Analyst who has directed more than 180 surveys and other social science, policy, evaluation, and marketing research studies for the National Institutes of Health, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Highway Administration (with The Baldwin Group), the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Freddie Mac, the U.S. Dept of Housing & Urban Development, Johns Hopkins University, Michigan’s Dept of Community Health, the U.S. Postal Service, and others. Dr. Groeneman’s experience includes surveys of federal employees’ knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. He has prepared over 140 technical reports presenting/analyzing research results. He has expertise in survey instrument development and testing for telephone surveys, intercept surveys, mail-back surveys, in-depth interviews, panel sample surveys, and Internet/web surveys; also in statistical/data analysis. For 20 years, he was a survey manager/analyst with a leading international survey/marketing research company (Market Facts – now Synovate). Dr. Groeneman is former Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and American University and was a Survey Manager at Harvard University’s John F.
