Christine Brittle, Ph.D.

Christine Brittle is a trained social science researcher with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques (including surveys, focus groups, interviews, content analyses, literature reviews, and experiments). As an experienced writer and editor, she is adept at translating scientific findings into formats suitable for various publics. Dr. Brittle has specific research expertise in the area of environmental and risk communications, including doctoral research and other work specifically focused on climate change issues. She has conducted communications research for numerous Federal agencies including CDC, EPA, DHHS, DOT, DOL, SSA, ED, and others. A published author and winner of several research awards; Dr. Brittle is affiliated with the George Mason Center of Excellence for Climate Change Communications Research. She is a former employee of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Christine Brittle earned her Ph.D. in Communication Studies from University of Michigan.
