Business Process Reengineering

What is it?
A systematic means to improve the input and output of organizational activities by optimizing the utilization of people, resources, and technologies through redesigning activity flows.

What Can It Be Used For?
Used to change the efficiencies and effectiveness of programs and standard operating procedures that, in turn, optimize the production of products and services

TBG Expertise

  1. TBG provided the redesign of a warehouse printing operation for a USDA office.  The result included a projected $1.5 million savings based on the recommendations.
  2. For a FHWA office, TBG is training their team in two steps to redesign internal and external processes.  In the first step, the team will learn to create the ‘as is’ process as a prelude to step 2, creating the ‘to be’ process.
