Way Beyond Diversity Training
As the workforce continues to increase in diversity, those organizations that best know how to maximize the advantages of diverse thinking will be the ones leading the pack. This workshop helps sharpen the tools to utilize diverse ideas.

Course Content

  • Overview – from diversity to advantage
  • Recognizing our prejudices
  • Video demonstrating inappropriate behavior
  • Proactive responses to inappropriate behavior
  • Creating the work team that integrates diverse viewpoints

Key Objectives

  • Increase knowledge, awareness, sensitivity and skills for work force and customer diversity
  • Learn management skills in areas of recruitment, hiring, retention, performance appraisal, communications, and conflict resolution in the diverse work place.
  • Learn about the diverse customer and their needs.

Target Audience

  • Department heads, supervisors, managers, and staff

Materials/Text

  • Workbook with references and graphics
  • Approximately 35% of the time is in the presentation mode
  • Client-based case studies, supported by individual and group activities and exercises, serve to reinforce the lessons

Course Length

  • One-day for up to 25 individuals per session
