leading the pack. This workshop helps sharpen the
tools to utilize diverse ideas.

- Recognizing our prejudices
- Video demonstrating inappropriate behavior
- Proactive responses to inappropriate
behavior
- Creating the work team that integrates
diverse viewpoints
Key Objectives
- Increase knowledge, awareness, sensitivity
and skills for work force and customer diversity
- Learn management skills in areas of
recruitment, hiring, retention, performance
appraisal, communications, and conflict
resolution in the diverse work place.
- Learn about the diverse customer and their
needs.
Target Audience
- Department heads, supervisors, managers, and
staff
Materials/Text
- Workbook with references and graphics
- Approximately 35% of the time is in the
presentation mode
- Client-based case studies, supported by
individual and group activities and exercises,
serve to reinforce the lessons
Course Length
- One-day for up to 25 individuals per session
