Power and Ethical Dilemmas Training
Power is often perceived as negative, mostly because we hear so much about the abuse of power by high profile offenders. In this session, we explore power first, then overlay power with the ethical dilemmas that face leadership.

  • Tap the 7 sources of power to charge your power-battery
  • Power accumulates! How much do you have?
  • Abuse of power and leadership dilemmas
  • Defining ethics, morals, right & wrong
  • Four decision models for sorting leadership dilemmas

Key Objectives

  • Learn about the sources of power and how to gain more
  • Assess your power rating; Determine where you have a power leak!
  • Learn the meaning of a ‘right vs. right’ ethical dilemma
  • Learn and practice four decision-making models
  • Learn to apply resolution principles to ethical dilemmas

  • Workbook with references and graphics
  • Approximately 35% of the time is in the presentation mode
  • Client-based case studies, supported by individual and group activities and exercises, serve to reinforce the lessons

Course Length
